In the third edition of MIAC (2009) 75 pairs/groups (39 AG, 23 Jun and 13 Sen) entered the competition, for a total of 196 gymnasts, despite the financial crisis in late 2008. Even so, 23 clubs and national teams were present, 14 from outside Portugal (USA, Spain, England, Belgium, Puerto Rico and Switzerland).
