Maia International Acro Cup 2009

By the end of December 2008, more than 2 months away from the competition, this is the status of pre-registrations for the MIAC 2009:

• 413 persons (306 gymnasts and 107 delegates)
• 32 delegations
• 9 countries

Some other national teams have already pre-registered but we do not yet know how many gymnasts and delegates will be coming. In terms of categories for the pre-registered pairs/groups:

• 11-16: 63 pairs/groups
• Juniors: 43 pairs/groups
• Seniors: 22 pairs/groups

On the 13^th December 2008, the first edition of the Maia Acrobatics Open took place at the Maia Gymnastics Complex. This was another preliminary event to MIAC 2009 and, in terms of results, Acro Clube da Maia (ACM) dominated the event (see the video)…
